Recently I visited Cory Fairbanks Mazda in Longwood to have the oil changed in my 07 Mazda 6. I absolutely love this car and always choose a dealer when having service work done because of the trust and guarantee issues. I was met by Ed Danzy as I parked and showed the way to the garage area. Being a great salesman, he asked the obvious question of "Would I like to trade this car in today?" As I drove away chuckling I want you to know that I left in a Mercedes-Benz CLK 350. Since this car was clearly a trade in Ed and I had cut a deal for some minor service work to be done, such as a couple front tires and an alignment etc. Within days I was contacted by John Sacco, your Service Manager, who to my surprise gave me a cell number to reach him.
On the morning of my appointment I had just come off the midnight shift and hadn't even been home yet. Jimmy Valentine greeted me as I pulled in and immediately got the process rolling. I wanted to personally introduce myself to John and at that point the surprises just keep coming. Never in my 23 yrs. of driving have I ever been shuttled to a dinner by an Auto Dealer and had my breakfast paid for while I waited. All I can say is WOW!
That morning could have been pure hell for a guy who hadn't slept yet and was still in the same clothes from the night before. I have yet to meet Paul Thompson for one last detail, but I am confident the experience will be just as pleasant.
Cory Fairbanks Mazda and their staff treated me like I mattered and took personal interest in my situation that day. The sales, the service, the finance by Brian Tokarczyk, and even the ride with "the old man" sorry Ken I know I promised you I would call you that, were just and enjoyment to do business with.

The reason for the email this time compared to other times is because of the exceptional service that I have received from Yousef in Finance. He was a pleasure to work with purchasing this car. My previous experience with finance were with John and he didn't give me the "warm fuzzies" about my purchase. He would say things like, "Don't drink a few soda's and you can afford the extra money" which wasn't professional. Yousef didn't do this he did what he could to get the best rates and terms for the loan. He explained how things were broken down in the purchase and what we could do as the consumer to get the payment where we wanted. He went above and beyond to make sure we were happy when we left the dealership. Please extend my thanks to Yousef again for his assistance.
I would also like to compliment your sales team on a awesome job as well. Willie and the guys did everything they could to help me out as the consumer. I had purchased one car from you and wasn't happy with it, so Willie went out of his way to get me into the car that I wanted at a price that was reasonable. I also would like to compliment Dave Halstead in Service. Bernie used to be my service guy for my old RX8, I never liked to call for service because I always felt like I was inconveniencing Bernie to have my car worked on. This is the complete opposite with Dave. Dave has brought me back to the service department at Corey Fairbanks Mazda. He took the time to go over everything that was done to the car and even gave me information about things that would need to be done in the future. This will be he third car purchase from Cory Fairbanks Mazda, My 2005 MX 5 mazdaspeed, Our 2008 Mazda 3, and now this the 2010 Mazda 3 hatchback.
We live in Palm Bay Fl, which is a bit of a distance to travel to purchase a car. But in our experience we have found that the people at Cory Fairbanks work the hardest to give the customer the best deal possible We probably will not buy another new car in the foreseeable future.
But in the event we decide to and we see something from Mazda we like, Cory Fairbanks would be the dealership of choice for us despite the distance.

Dear sirs, It is my pleasure to inform you of my excellent service experience of March 18th. I've owned my '08 MX-5 PHT for fourteen months, and to date have only registered slightly over 500 miles on the clock. My vehicle is more than merely a car; it's my hobby and obsession. At 62 years of age, I've spent a lifetime in the collector car/auction marketplace, but in my "Autumn years", I refuse to be relegated to the stereotypical, four door, practical, stodgy and utilitarian retiree sedan. My service appointment started two days prior as I called Robert in the parts department. The part I required, albeit it only a $7 item, was promptly ordered and in stock, as promised, for my Thursday morning service appointment. Further diagnosis in the service area showed that the ordered part was, in fact, not needed and upon the completion of my visit, I was issued an immediate and courteous refund. I was greeted immediately and courteously at your outside kiosk. My paperwork shows "Advisor 1805", Mr. James P. Valentine. Mr. Valentine meticulously and promptly entered my service requirements and my vehicle was quickly dispatched to the rear of the service area; right on time, just as scheduled and just as I had hoped. My vehicle was parked prior to service by an older gentleman who I had asked to please park my car away from the maze of other vehicles because of my fear of inadvertent scratches or door nicks. He did so precisely both on the inbound and outbound parking. I was remiss for not noting this gentleman's name, however, I was extremely impressed with his cordial demeanor and his assuring insistence that it would be his pleasure to honor my request. I thought, "It simply cannot get any better than this!" I was proven wrong by the extraordinary service which I was about to receive from my Mazda technician; your employee "Ricky" (Tech# 1137). I need not bore you with the details, save to say that Ricky exhibited extraordinary product knowledge and an extremely apparent and genuine desire to not only promptly diagnose and correct, but showed an eager willingness to answer any and all of my questions; many of which I had yet to even ask. So my praise for your service and parts department is four fold; however Ricky's sincere commitment to total customer satisfaction, rapid diagnosis and problem solving, the ability to think on his feet, and I might add, also dealership loyalty, simply not only made my visit a satisfying experience, but dare I say bordered on the enjoyable and most certainly was made even more worthwhile with his plethora of informative and valuable advice. Am I happy? You're darn right!!! Ricky is indisputably a significant asset to your organization. It is my wish that Mr. K. Garrison and also Mr. J. Sacco, whom I understand to be the service supervisor, each receive a hard carbon of this letter; as I hope ALL involved parties will as well. In each case, I would consider it a personal favor if ALL aforementioned personnel were spoken to PERSONALLY and recognized by Mr. K. Garrison, Mr. J. Sacco, and any others deemed appropriate. I look forward to fulfilling my future automotive purchase opportunities and service needs by your dealership. Simply because someone way down in the trenches showed he REALLY & TRULY gave a damn!!! Dear Mr. Garrison,
I am writing this letter in hopes that you will give one of your sales representatives the recognition that he deserves. I came down to your dealership on Thursday, March 26th, 2010 to look at a Mazda Tribute that I had seen on AutoTrader.com. I live in Gainesville so the drive is about 2 hours and because I got a late start, I was essentially driving in rush hour traffic most of the way. I was very tired and had had a few bad experiences at other dealerships that day and quite frankly was a little fed-up with the whole thing. When I arrived at your dealership it was about 6pm. and the sales representative that I was supposed to meet with had gone home for the day. But, one of your other sales representatives, Shawn McClary, took the time to show me the vehicle that I had come to look at.
Shawn was very personable and very friendly. We took the vehicle for a test drive and I felt very comfortable with him even though I had just met him. We returned to the dealership and he continued to show me other features on the vehicle. He told me about how his daughter, don't quote me on this, had gotten the same type of vehicle and the features that she had liked on it. We went inside to work out some numbers so I could take a buyers order back to my credit union versus financing with the dealership, although he did make me aware of promotions that the dealership was offering at the time. He didn't pressure me into purchasing anything or making any decisions that I was uncomfortable with. After he came back in with the numbers and an option that would allow me to take the vehicle home that day even though I had driven down by myself, I decided that this was what I was looking for and purchased the vehicle then and there. Now, I don't usually make spur-of-the-moment decisions. One of the things I had decided on that morning before I went car shopping was that I was not going to make any final decisions until the following Tuesday. Mr. McClary and your dealership changed my mind. I think I forgot to mention that this was the first time I had made a decision to purchase a new vehicle and until this particular day, had never even been to a dealership or a car lot to test drive anything. Please don't misunderstand me, I really did like the vehicle and that is why I purchased it, but I will say this: I would have not purchased this vehicle when I did had it not been for the way that Mr. McClary took care of me.
I received a call from Mr. McClary the next day to make sure that I had gotten home alright because it was late and I was extremely tired when I finally left. When I came back that next Saturday to pick up my old car, Mr. McClary greeted me as though we had known each other for a long time. He is a very genuine person and that is something that is hard to find when you are working in an environment where your salary is partially based on what you sell. I truly enjoyed my first experience with buying a new vehicle and would come back to your dealership in a heart beat.

We located this dealership on-line first and compared them to other dealers in the general area. We then contacted them because we saw that they had a good inventory and reasonable pricing. We also contacted a few other dealers locally but drove the hour drive to Longwood because they had the stock and were quick to respond to our requests for more information. We took the two cars we were interested in for test drives and George really made us feel comfortable as we tried out the cars. He gave us lots of good information about the details of the cars, but never made us feel any pressure or tension and we really appreciated that because we knew what we were interested in when we arrived there. He helped to work out the pricing along with the manager, Bill I believe was his name. They were responsive to our desire to get to a fair price quickly and make the purchase so we bought the car that same day. Everyone was helpful including Eddie who stayed late to complete our financing (we had to leave in the afternoon to go back to Brevard County, an hour drive each way, and get our trade in car and our children so we didn't get back till later in the evening. Even though it was late, both Eddie and George stayed past their scheduled closing time to finish the sale and they both had great attitudes about it. In fact, one of the techs even stayed to put on the Perma Plate we bought. When we left we felt very positive about the experience and that has not always been the case when we have purchased cars in the past. I think I would look at this dealership first for our next car purchase because they were all positive and didn't try to drag us through hours of wheeling and dealing (something that we would have walked away over). We have told our family and friends about our experience and several were really surprised at how quickly we were able to make our purchase. They also loved the Zoom, Zoom of the car!
