Cory Fairbanks Mazda in Longwood,

Central Florida's fastest growing

import dealership, just announced

plans to hold its 3rd Annual $99 Sale

on all used cars, trucks and vans.

"We've had two back-to-back recordsetting

months, and it has left us with

a giant surplus of trade-ins, and, considering

the success of the previous

two years, we figured it was time to do

it again," said General Manager

Kendall Garrison.

"We have all these great used cars and

we know that our local consumers can

use help finding nice, clean, affordable

transportation. We are using the profits

from the last two months to write these

cars down to well below book value,

and some are as cheap as $99!" Mr.

Garrison said.

"We figure that if we help people get a

nice used car now, and we treat them

right, they'll become customers for

life," Mr. Garrison said. "It's a great

way to grow our business and help

give back to the community."

Mr. Garrison informed us that Cory

Fairbanks Mazda has partnered with a

local Credit Union to help secure

financing that might not otherwise be

possible. "They are a lender that still

looks at people and their ability to pay,

instead of just a credit report. Like us,

they understand that in today's economy,

some bad things have happened to

good people, but they still need transportation.

They will be on-site and

able to make decisions on the spot."

General Sale Manager Willie Wright III

told us, "I'm a local, born and raised in

Sanford, and our last two $99 Sales

made it possible for me to help

friends, neighbors and families get

great transportation with payments

they can afford."

"Last year when we did this sale we

sold cars that were normally $10,000

for $5,000," Mr. Wright said. "Cars

that were normally $8,000 sold for

$4,000, and several for only $99.

Here are a few examples: We had a

2006 Ford Explorer for only $3,500,

a 2007 Chrysler 300 for only $4,000 ?

that customer had a $79 dollar payment

? and we have an even better

selection this time. So, I'm looking

forward to doing it again and helping

out the local people. And this sale is

just for the public; we will not allow in

any dealers or wholesalers. We'll also

be accepting all trade-ins; cars, boats,

motorcycles, buses, RVs, jet skis,

whatever you have, and we'll pay you

top dollar for them."

"When this sale is over, prices will

return to normal, and we can only do it

for one day, once a year, or it would

really mess up the market," according

to Mr. Wright.
